disseminate AMO data to a wide audience much more effectively than older
methods in which individual data requests were answered one by one in a
human labor intensive style. The old method also introduced substantial
delays and did not permit interaction of the user with the databases to
refine or elaborate his data search request. Electronic distribution
of data also allows a great savings in printing and mail costs, and ultimately
reaches a much greater audience.
